Where can I send money?
Transfergratis offers money transfers to 16 African countries, including: Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Togo, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Benin, Ghana, Gabon, Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Algeria, Morocco, Egypt, South Africa, and Gambia.
What currencies are supported?
We primarily operate in Canadian Dollars (CAD) for sending funds, which are converted into various African currencies at competitive, real-time exchange rates. Supported currencies include the South African Rand (ZAR), FCFA (XAF/XOF), Algerian and Tunisian Dinars (DZD/TND), Egyptian Pound (EGP), Ethiopian Birr (ETB), Ghanaian Cedi (GHS), Moroccan Dirham (MAD), and Kenyan Shilling (KES), among others. What are your service charges?
Transfergratis offers fast and secure money transfers from Canada to 16 African countries, with no additional fees. The amount transferred is the amount received by your recipient.
What is the minimum transfer amount?
In addition to the minimum, the maximum amount you can send is $5,000 per transaction for mobile deposits and $15,000 per transaction for bank deposits, subject to your bank's daily limit.
How long do transfers take?
In most cases, funds sent arrive within minutes when transferring to a mobile wallet (such as Orange Money or MTN Mobile Money), and within a maximum of 24 business hours for a bank deposit.

We strive to meet these timelines, but some transfers may take longer depending on the payout method, the time of payment, or verification procedures. Processing will only begin once Transfergratis has received the funds from your payment provider. Identity checks (for sender and/or recipient), errors in the provided information, or partner opening hours may also extend the delivery time. Average times: • Bank transfer: Up to 24 business hours at partner banks. Timing may vary by bank, day of the week, and transaction time. Mobile money (Orange Money / MTN Mobile Money): Within minutes.

Do I need to verify my identity?
Yes, identity verification is required to comply with Canadian financial regulations and ensure the security of your transfers. The verification process is quick and helps protect both you and your recipients.
How is my money protected?
Transfergratis is authorized to operate as a money services business. This means we are legally permitted to provide financial services to our clients, including money transfers.

We are a registered company in Canada under company number 1301760-9, and regulated by the Financial Transactions and Reports Analysis Centre of Canada (FINTRAC) under number M21138062.
These registrations ensure that your transactions are carried out in a secure environment, fully compliant with all applicable legal and regulatory standards.
What information do I need to provide for bank transfers to Cameroon?
• Full name. To avoid any delays, the recipient's name must exactly match the name on their bank statement.
• Account details. We need the (1) branch name, (2) bank code, (3) branch code, and (4) account number of your recipient, usually 12 to 14 digits.
• Reason for sending. Indicate whether it is for "family or friend support", "service purchase", "property payment", or "sending money to yourself".
• Email (optional). We use it to send your recipient an email with the transaction details.
• Please ensure all recipient details are correct. Once you have completed your transaction, it is difficult for us to modify or stop the transfer, although we will always do our best to help.
